This site is composed of two groups of plots which together form a land unit with a total area of 12,278m². The uncultivated land of this site, which has been covered over by unprotected vegetation, is ideally located in proximity to Metro line 7, several RATP bus lines, line V7 of the Valouette network, Autolib’ stations and RN7. It features great metropolitan potential, through its proximity to the operational area of the Campus Grand Parc project, and allows for creativity in inventing suitable uses for this little-populated, open and very accessible area.

Urban context / existing buildings
The site is located in the northeast of Villejuif, on its border with Vitry-sur-Seine, less than 2km from Paris. It is in a residential area where there is a mix of small collective housing buildings and detached houses with gardens.
It is comprised of a series of plots of uncultivated land on which wild vegetation has grown expansively, creating a vast green space, which, along with the large, greatly-wooded area of a nearby non-drinking water reservoir, represents a genuine green oasis for the city. The area is calm, not very built-up, and far from any disturbances. The site is on a hillside and the sloping Bizet and Emile Zola roads provide distant views of the wide southern Parisian landscape, greatly contributing to this neighbourhood's quality of life. The neighbourhood also benefits from proximity to Vitry-sur-Seine, a busy commercial area along the Boulevard de Stalingrad.
The site is served by public transportation: 300 metres from Metro line 7 at the Villejuif-Paul-Vaillant-Couturier station, several bus lines and two autolib stations on national 7.
In 2020 the T9 tramway linking Paris to the city of Orly will be put into service. The site will benefit from a station located on Boulevard de Stalingrad, less than 500m away. Finally line 15 of the Greater Paris Express will be put into service in 2022. The Villejuif-Louis Aragon station will be located less than 800m from the site.
The district's proximity to the "Campus Grand Parc" project, which extends to Villejuif and Cachan, will undoubtedly increase demand for housing in this southern sector of Paris.
Prospects for innovation
Reinvention of detached housing residential areas: new ways of living and occupying the non-densely populated space.
Landscaping dimension and environmental aspect of buildings are crucial, because of the green space that has been established.
